Our Reception teacher is Mrs Lynn Pepper

assisted by TA Miss Isabella Galikowski

Hello, my name is Mrs Lynn Pepper and I am the Crib Goch/Reception class teacher and Deputy Headteacher.  I qualified as a teacher in 2005.  I have spent most of my teaching career at Ysgol Melyd, where I had experience in both KS2 and the Foundation Phase, teaching a wide range of children from years one to six.  I have also worked in various schools across North Wales on a supply basis.

I very much enjoy teaching with my favourite subjects being music and mathematics.  I play a few instruments and enjoy singing which encouraged me into leading the choir, 'Melydee' in my last school, to a wide range of performances and even winning various competitions!   In my spare time I love to be outdoors, either mowing the grass, gardening or driving my digger.  I have two wonderful daughters who are both successfully graduated from university this year and a fantastic husband who shares my interest in music, though he favours playing the drums.

Hello, my name is Isabella Galikowski, I started working as a TA in St Asaph VP in 2018 at that time I was TA for Year 1 and I moved to Crib Goch/Reception class from September 2019, and into Nursery in November 2020.  I also do the group interventions.  My family and I moved to North Wales from Birmingham in 2016.  I worked at a Sure Start and Nursery there for over 6 years. When I'm not working I spend most of my time with my two children, baking cakes, eating cakes and then burning off all that energy with a walk on the beach with our crazy dog, Daisy.
