Hello, My name is Sophia Channer and I am the Nursery class teacher.

I have been teaching since 2015.  After finishing my PGCE at Chester University, I spent a lot of my teaching experience as a supply teacher for various schools throughout Denbighshire and Conwy County.  This gave me so many opportunities to develop myself as a teacher, which I am really grateful for.  I love working in the VP school, I am very lucky to have had this chance to work with all the staff and such wonderful children.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my cats!  I also enjoy going on long walks in the forest and around the local lakes with the dogs.  I also enjoy outings to the cinema, eating out and a spot of shopping every now and then.

I have recently joined the gym, local to where I live and I do try and make an appearance 2-3 times a week.  Hopefully this is something I can keep up!

My name is Kevin Cross and I am the Teaching Assistant in Nursery class as well as Caretaker for the school.

I am married with two grown up children.  Both my children, and my wife, are all former pupils of the VP School whilst I went to school in Denbigh.

My main interests are cycling, football & walking.  I was fortunate to obtain an allotment, when the new allotments were opened here in St Asaph, where I love to spend time growing vegetables.

My name is Keiran Evans, and I have been working at St Asaph VP since April 2015 as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.  I really enjoy my job and love being able to work with children.

Away from work I spend most of my time with my family, I have 2 wonderful children, my son Harley and my daughter, Amelie.

I have a real passion for football and play a lot in my spare time, I also run the after school football sessions at school, every Wednesday afternoon.  Aside from football I play numerous other sports such as badminton, tennis, golf and snooker and also enjoy listening to music.
